Job summary

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or higher in Finance or Banking and at least five years of bank compliance experience, with strong knowledge of regulations, excellent communication, and a detail-oriented, collaborative approach.

  • Associate’s degree (or higher) in Finance, Banking, or related field.
  • 5 years or more of bank compliance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to interpret laws and communicate requirements effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal, written, and public speaking skills.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking software systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, reasoning, and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, courteous, and team-focused approach.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive compliance audits across all departments.
  • Acting as the main contact during external exams.
  • Preparing detailed reports with findings and recommendations for the Board of Directors.
  • Collaborate with departments to implement and maintain compliance standards.
  • Train and educate staff on updates or changes to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Report compliance violations to the CEO; Maintain accurate and up-to-date policies aligned with federal and state regulations.
  • Resolve compliance-related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Ensure adherence to all bank security procedures.
  • Assist with regulatory and compliance training initiatives.
