The Indiana Professional Licensing Agency is seeking an individual to help protect the health and safety of the citizens of Indiana by providing quality, efficient service to all professional licensees, applicants, and the public. The fundamental purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the board director, the licensing board/commissions, and to directly supervise the customer service representatives’ projects across a broad scope of career opportunities. The Compliance Officer conducts inspections and investigations of licensed Indiana facilities. You will ensure that all facilities are properly licensed and operating under safe and sanitary conditions as required by Indiana Board statutes and rules. You will protect the health and safety of the citizens of Indiana by providing quality, efficient service to all professional licensees, applicants, and the public.
The purpose of this position is to protect the public health and safety in the procurement and inspection of facilities and individuals that handle, dispense, prescribe, and administer pharmaceuticals and other medical equipment that is sold or distributed to patients in the State of Indiana. The Indiana Board of Pharmacy is responsible for licensing and regulating all facilties and individuals that engage in the practice of pharmacy and handle pharmaceutical product. This includes physically conducting inspections, and investigations concerning issues of diversion, impairment, and compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and Board Orders and Policy. The Compliance Officer is integral to fulfilling the Board's statutory mission of protecting public healh and safety by monitoring diversion, compliance, and impairment in the physical locations where pharmacy is practiced and drugs are dispensed and/or administered to patients and consumers.

The Compliance Officer will be responsible for conducting and/or coordinating the following activities and other projects as assigned by the Compliance Director.
