Job description

Compliance Monitoring & Testing Associate

A private equity firm located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking to hire a Compliance Monitoring & Testing Associate to join their team. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office per week) with a salary range of $120,000 to $125,000 base plus a 30-35% bonus.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the development, implementation, execution, and reporting of the firm’s compliance monitoring and testing program to support risk mitigation efforts and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
2. Collaborate with compliance partners to complete risk assessments, conduct targeted reviews of business activities, and perform inspections of branch offices.
3. Assess the design of controls and test their effectiveness.
4. Prepare reports that identify issues, work with issue owners to develop solutions, and ensure timely remediation.
5. Assist with surveillance enhancements and contribute to strategic surveillance projects.
6. Review, analyze, and investigate issues within the surveillance platform.
