The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable campaign finance professional who is able to execute senior-level tasks associated with compliance, financial management and bookkeeping to ensure clients are in accordance with FEC and state reporting guidelines and tax regulations. The right candidate is highly organized and is able to build relationships with their clients as well as fellow team members.

This position is 100% remote with the ability to come into the DC office as often as desired.

The salary range for this position is $67,500 - $74,999.

Duties include, but are not limited to :

Responsibilities
  • Manages a portfolio of clients in the division, which includes maintaining NGP for reporting purposes, reconciling bank accounts, performing bookkeeping functions, and preparing weekly financial reports for clients.
  • Serves as a primary point of contact for clients, including communicating all applicable filing deadlines for regular and expedited reports.
  • May serve as point of contact for client payroll and merchant accounts.
  • Responsible for FEC report preparation, including reconciliation and quality control.
  • Advises on FEC or state compliance-related issues as they arise in connection with fundraising, communications, use of funds, best practices, etc. (including review of printed materials).

Qualifications

Education and Experience

The successful candidate holds a degree from a four-year college or equivalent experience and has at least 4 years’ experience with campaign finance. Experience with state campaign finance compliance is preferred. They should also have experience with relevant tools and software, such as Excel, QuickBooks, and NGP.
