Space-Eyes seeks a Compliance Manager to develop, manage, and strengthen our compliance programs as we grow across government, defense, and commercial markets. This role collaborates with leadership, operations, finance, legal, business development, and technical teams to ensure regulatory, contractual, and internal compliance requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain company compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Monitor compliance with applicable federal, state, contractual, and industry requirements.
  • Support compliance requirements associated with U.S. government and Department of Defense contracting.
  • Coordinate documentation, reporting, certifications, and other compliance-related requirements.
  • Support implementation and ongoing management of cybersecurity and information-security compliance requirements applicable to government contractors.
  • Assist with export control compliance, including ITAR and EAR requirements, as applicable.
  • Support ethics, conflicts of interest, confidentiality, records management, and other corporate compliance programs.
  • Coordinate internal compliance reviews and support external audits, assessments, and due diligence.
  • Identify compliance risks and work with leadership to develop appropriate corrective actions and controls.
  • Maintain organized compliance records, policies, certifications, and supporting documentation.
  • Develop and coordinate employee compliance training and awareness programs.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and contractual requirements that may affect the company.
  • Work with external legal counsel, auditors, consultants, and other advisors as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within the defense, aerospace, government contracting, or technology industries.
  • Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements.
  • Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, and U.S. export control requirements.
  • Familiarity with CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and related cybersecurity compliance frameworks.
  • Experience supporting government contractor audits, assessments, certifications, or due diligence.
  • Experience developing compliance programs and internal controls within a growing organization.
