indiGO Auto Group is seeking a Compliance Manager to join our Corporate team, reporting to the Director of HR. This role supports a strong culture of compliance across all dealerships in our network.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years in compliance, risk management, or coordination roles.
  • Knowledge of consumer protection, data privacy, and safety laws.

Responsibilities

  • Act as liaison between indiGO and Ethics and Compliance teams.
  • Lead the Compliance Task Force and report to executives.
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments.
  • Support state audits with the Tax Team.
  • Track training completion and close gaps at locations.
  • Monitor compliance systems and mitigate issues.
  • Prepare and file reports to state and federal agencies.
  • Manage data retention and purging for compliance.
  • Coordinate with external consultants as needed.
  • Train dealership teams on compliance requirements.
  • Support acquisitions by integrating compliance processes within 90 days.
  • Identify efficiency improvements in compliance processes.

What we are looking for:

indiGO Auto Group is seeking a full-time Compliance Manager to join our indiGO Auto Group Corporate team, reporting directly to the Director of HR. This role will support the indiGO organization in maintaining a strong culture of compliance across our dealerships. Here is what an ordinary day of work may look like:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between indiGO and the Pon Ethics and Compliance Team, ensuring alignment with broader corporate standards.
  • Lead the indiGO Compliance Task Force (CTF) to drive awareness and alignment on compliance-related issues across the organization, reporting progress to executive leadership.
  • Conduct internal audits and assessments based on priority areas identified by leadership.
  • Partner with the Pon Tax Team to support state audits and related compliance needs.
  • Track and report on training completion rates across dealerships, following up with locations as needed to close gaps.
  • Monitor the compliance system, identifying and helping mitigate issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and submit required compliance reports and filings to state and federal agencies.
  • Manage the company's data retention and purging processes to ensure compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Support ad hoc compliance initiatives and projects as they arise.
  • Build strong relationships with dealership general managers and operations teams to foster a culture of compliance.
  • Provide training sessions and resources to help teams understand compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Support dealership acquisitions by helping integrate compliance processes within 90 days of acquisition.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency within compliance-related processes.
  • Assist in coordinating with external consultants when needed to meet compliance demands.
The opportunity is for you if you have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related coordination/project management role, preferably in the automotive, retail, or multi-unit industry.
  • Working knowledge of industry-specific laws (i.e., federal and state laws focused on consumer protection, fair lending practices, data privacy, workplace safety) and a demonstrated commitment to ethical conduct and operational integrity.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
  • Comfortable working with dealership management systems (e.g., Tekion, CDK, or similar).
  • Proven ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization, from dealership staff to executive leadership.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead training sessions and present to groups.
  • Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
  • Extremely organized with dedicated attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a clear focus on delivering work of the highest quality.
  • Domestic and international travel required.
  • Willing to submit to a drug test and criminal background check.
  • Maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
