The Compliance Investigator will also be responsible for programmatic initiatives including compliance training and global risk assessments.

  1. Lead internal investigations of alleged violations of the COBC, as well as U.S. and international laws, including creating investigation plans, analyzing potential evidence, managing data and asset collections, conducting interviews, preparing investigation reports, and presenting investigative results to management.
  2. Supervise and collaborate with compliance professionals in triaging allegation reports, assigning matters for investigation, and managing closure and documentation processes.
  3. Supervise and collaborate with other departments, such as Human Resources and Corporate Security, conducting COBC investigations under the direction of the Law Department.
  4. Collaborate with key stakeholders to implement corrective action and enhanced internal controls.
  5. Prepare documentation in response to subpoenas, government inquiries, and other internal investigations.
  6. Conduct compliance audits globally to ensure continued compliance with the Company’s policies and business practices.
  7. Plan, coordinate, and execute global initiatives to assist in managing compliance risks. Support training initiatives.
  8. Track national and international developments in investigation best practices to update or modify the Company’s investigation process.
  9. 20% Travel expectation.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience independently conducting internal investigations for an international company, law enforcement unit, law firm, or accounting firm.
  3. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and high degree of organizational skills.
  4. Ability to multi-task and handle a high-volume caseload.
  5. Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  6. Team player, with the ability to work independently, collaboratively with others, and also to lead group projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Multilingual candidates will receive enhanced consideration.

  3. Experience working at a multinational company handling investigations across various jurisdictions across the globe.
  4. Working knowledge of investigative tools and enterprise resource planning software.
  5. Candidates with working knowledge of SAP or an accounting background.

Candidates having qualifications that exceed the minimum job requirements will receive consideration for higher-level roles (i.e., Senior Compliance Investigator) given (1) their experience, (2) additional job requirements, and/or (3) business needs. Depending on education, experience, and skill level, various job opportunities might be available from Compliance Investigator to Senior Compliance Investigator. The selected employee will have the opportunity to grow within their role over time.
