Quality Improvement Professionals Columbus, OH is seeking a Compliance & Accounting Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on ensuring regulatory compliance, financial reporting support, and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and at least four years of related experience, with a broad knowledge of GAAP and government programs. This is an on-site role with a focus on accuracy and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance from an accredited college or university or equivalent.
• Four or more years in program compliance, financial reporting, or related experience.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, HUD, and agency regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with departments to identify key compliance needs and support initiatives.
• Manage planning, execution, and monitoring of compliance-related initiatives.
• Develop detailed compliance project plans including policy and financial aspects.
• Gather, analyze data, identify risks, and align actions with regulatory and internal policies.
• Respond to inquiries, audits, and reviews; communicate processes clearly.
• Maintain records, track progress, and support reporting with the compliance team.
