Job summary

Mercor is seeking a remote contract Business Operations & Compliance Expert to create high-quality training data for frontier AI systems and develop compliance scenarios using internal controls and compliance programs. You will translate regulatory requirements into checklists and collaborate on a UK business-hours rhythm while working independently to meet deadlines.

This hourly contract runs from 10 August 2026 to 4 September 2026, with weekly payments via Stripe Connect.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in business operations, internal controls, advertising or marketing operations, risk, or compliance program management.
• Ability to explain requirements in plain language.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom and have the right to work in the United Kingdom.

Must-Have

• Experience in media, publishing, advertising agencies, live events, or consumer subscription businesses.
• Familiarity with compliance training design, RACI definition, and monthly operating review calendars.
