Job summary

ElevenLabs is a remote-first US-based AI research and product company seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer to drive government and defense compliance across our enterprise offerings, including GovRAMP, FedRAMP, CJIS and CMMC. You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering and Legal to ensure audit readiness and rapid response to security requests.

You will develop compliance documentation, automate monitoring through CI/CD tooling, and perform risk assessments using CIS/NIST standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in vendor security assessments and client security questionnaires in regulated US government/defense sectors.
• Hands-on experience with compliance management tools (e.g., Vanta).
• Proven ability to maintain certifications, audit readiness, and documentation.
• Experience collaborating with sales, engineering, legal to communicate requirements.
• Experience with public cloud compliance (AWS, GCP, Azure) and automating compliance in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with integrating compliance tools into CI/CD pipelines for monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain US Government compliance certifications and frameworks (GovRAMP, FedRAMP, CJIS, CMMC).
• Shape ElevenLabs’ Enterprise offering towards regulated industries such as government and finance.
• Create technical documentation to demonstrate compliance to customers.
• Assist sales by responding to security requests and managing compliance queries.
• Conduct risk assessments based on CIS or NIST frameworks and document findings.
• Enhance compliance as code tooling to automate monitoring and reporting.
