Location

The initial work location is in Fort Montgomery, NY, with a scheduled move to Middletown, NY in early 2026. Candidates must be willing to work in Fort Montgomery for approximately 6-8 months and then transition to Middletown.

Job Summary

The Compliance Data Specialist ensures that all cannabis inventory and data tracking systems meet regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, managing lab testing submissions, and coordinating with regulatory bodies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure inventory processes comply with regulations, conduct audits, and stay updated on cannabis laws.
2. Tracking and Reporting: Monitor product movement, maintain detailed records, and prepare compliance reports.
3. Production Records: Keep digital records of batch data, ingredients, and packaging.
4. Lab Testing Submissions: Manage sample submissions, track results, and document data.
5. Product Creation & Documentation: Oversee product creation processes and ensure proper documentation.
6. Communication & Liaison: Serve as contact with regulatory agencies and internal teams.
7. ERP System Management: Maintain and train staff on ERP systems for compliance data.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma, GED, or Bachelor's in compliance, statistics, or related field.
• At least 2 years in compliance or data roles, preferably in regulated industries.
• Experience with cannabis track-and-trace systems and ERP software.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, proficiency in MS Office, and strong communication skills.

Work Schedule & Compensation

Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm. Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 per year.
