Job summary

Thorlabs in Newton, NJ seeks a Compliance Coordinator I to support day-to-day regulatory activities and ensure accurate documentation for RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, PFAS and TSCA. You will interface with vendors and internal teams to maintain compliance across the product lifecycle.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 1+ year of regulatory experience are required. The role requires detail orientation, multitasking and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with Engineering

Qualifications

• 1+ years of compliance or regulatory experience.
• 5+ years of administrative record keeping experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as product compliance liaison with vendors for RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, PFAS and TSCA.
• Enter validated classifications for components into D365.
• Determine compliance classifications for finished goods from BOM components.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Purchasing to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to customer requests for compliance information.
