Job summary

FAROUK SYSTEMS INC. seeks a Compliance Coordinator to support the Director of Compliance in maintaining ISO 9001:2015 compliance for cosmetics and tools manufacturing, sales, and distribution, including international regulatory standards and product registration.

The role involves coordinating artwork approvals, liaising with vendors, tracking deadlines, preparing compliance documentation, and supporting audits and training across departments.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Some experience in Regulatory/Legal, ISO Compliance, or R&D/Laboratory environment is preferred.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • ISO 9001:2015 experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with other departments in approving product artwork.
  • Communicate with vendors and distributors to address issues related to product compliance.
  • Track projects and deadlines.
  • Coordinate with sales department to ensure Amazon documentation is provided.
  • Assist in preparation and filing of reports, spreadsheets and compliance records.
  • Assist in preparation of Safety Data Sheets, Free Sale Certificates and Product Certificates.
  • Interface with Research and Development and Quality Control on assigned projects related to product compliance.
  • Obtain necessary documentation and provide to outside vendors for Safety Assessments.
  • Provide foreign distributors with information to enable product registration outside the United States.
  • Assist with ISO internal and external audits.
  • Assist in conducting new employee ISO training.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with all ISO standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Director of Compliance in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 all domestic and international regulatory standards as they apply to cosmetics and tools manufacturing sales and distribution, as well as product registration.

Duties & Responsibilities

Education & Experience
  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • Some experience working in a Regulatory/Legal, ISO Compliance, or Research and Development/Laboratory environment with a rudimentary knowledge of chemistry is preferred.
  • Must have advanced computer skills-Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
  • ISO 9001:2015 experience is preferred.
