Job summary

The GEO Group is seeking a Compliance Auditor in California to perform daily reviews, manage accreditation audits, and provide timely reports. You will ensure adherence to ACA, health care, and client guidelines, coordinating with compliance leadership to verify statuses and improve controls.

The role requires strong communication, audit preparation skills, and the ability to work flexible hours to support weekend or overnight audits.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years’ progressive experience in the compliance/auditing field is required.
• Must be able to prepare for audits by researching materials and formulating a plan of action.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily compliance reviews of facility departments.
• Perform periodic accreditation audits of the facility.
• Compile information for ACA, health care and related regulatory validations.
• Provide monthly audit reports and summaries to leadership.
• Maintain database of audits and update resources, standards and requirements.
• Assist management in revising policies to meet guidelines.
• Work flexible hours including weekends and overnight as required.
