Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coordinate, and oversee audit and compliance-related programs
  • Support the design, implementation, and execution of a comprehensive risk assessment methodology
  • Assist in developing and managing the annual audit plan, audit schedule, and reporting packages for various stakeholders
  • Plan, execute, and deliver audits on time, adhering to the established schedule
  • Evaluate and identify the root causes of compliance issues and unmitigated risks, proposing effective solutions or measures for improvement to mitigate operational business risks
  • Prepare audit reports that succinctly and objectively summarize observations, recommendations, root causes, and relevant information for all key stakeholders
  • Develop, maintain, and update policies and guidelines to ensure company compliance with applicable regulations and legislation, while tracking, monitoring, and reporting on overall compliance status
  • Recommend or develop training programs to enhance the business and stakeholders' understanding of audit standards
  • Identify and promote best practices across the organization, and within the industry or other sectors
  • Perform any additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing audits and/or compliance risks in the textile or manufacturing industry
  • Strong ability to analyse complex data, identify risks, and recognize non-compliance and control gaps
  • Proven ability to interact effectively with senior management, external auditors, and cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage workloads, and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with audit management software, GRC tools, or internal control frameworks
