• 5+ years of technical retirement plan experience with all types of tax-qualified plans
• 5-10 years of experience with 401(k) plans; underwriting or new case issuance preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written/oral communication, organization, and client service skills required
• Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients
• Work independently and set priorities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Senior Compliance Analyst supports both new and existing business activities through the creation, review, and implementation of plan documents, amendments, fee changes, and related compliance materials.

Serving as a senior resource to Compliance and service teams, this role provides technical expertise, supports complex client and operational initiatives, and contributes to process improvement and cross-functional projects that enhance efficiency, compliance, and the client experience.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Coordinate and manage complex document-related activities and projects, including plan amendments, restatements, regulatory updates, system enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
• Serve as a senior subject matter expert for plan documents, amendments, fee changes, and compliance-related requirements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Act as a resource and escalation point for Compliance and service teams, providing technical guidance, training, and mentorship to support operational excellence.
• Collaborate across departments to identify risks, improve processes, and drive strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, scalability, compliance, and the overall client experience.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:

• 5+ years of technical retirement plan experience with all types of tax-qualified plans and proven proficiency in understanding and applying pension laws and regulations
• 5-10 years of experience with 401(k) plans; Experience in retirement plan underwriting or new case issuance preferred
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written/oral communication, organization, and client service skills required
• Maintain professional working relationships with internal and external clients
• Work independently and set priorities
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

BASE PAY:

$30 - $34 per hour based on experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is typically performed in an office setting. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee is occasionally required to move about the office utilizing proper ergonomic safeguards when doing so. Additionally, the employee must occasionally lift or move supplies and materials up to 20 pounds.
