Job summary

C&N is seeking a Compliance Analyst I in Wellsboro, PA to support regulatory compliance activities, reviews, and data integrity initiatives within our Compliance team.

You will develop a solid foundation in banking regulations, perform regulatory reporting, and help ensure accuracy and adherence to CRA and Fair Lending requirements in daily operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 0–2 years of audit, compliance, finance, or risk management experience, or an equivalent combination.
  • Strong communication, research, and analytical abilities; detail oriented and organized.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and risk management is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with compliance reviews by evaluating processes, documenting findings, and supporting corrective actions.
  • Perform quality control reviews of regulatory data and prepare required filings.
  • Research regulatory requirements and assist with policy updates and inquiries.
  • Support CRA initiatives, Fair Lending activities, and special compliance projects.

Who are you?

You’re analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in regulatory compliance. At C&N, we’re seeking a Compliance Analyst I to support our Compliance team by helping ensure the Bank meets regulatory requirements while protecting our customers and organization.

In this role, you’ll assist with compliance reviews, regulatory reporting, and data integrity initiatives while developing a strong foundation in banking regulations and risk management. You will be responsible for:

Compliance Reviews: Assist with compliance reviews by evaluating processes, documenting findings, tracking corrective actions, and supporting recommendations that strengthen regulatory compliance.

Regulatory Reporting & Data Integrity: Perform quality control reviews of HMDA and CRA data, maintain accurate regulatory records, prepare required filings, and support regulatory reporting activities.

Research & Analysis: Research regulatory requirements, assist with policy and procedure updates, and support responses to regulatory and compliance inquiries.

Compliance Programs & Projects: Support Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives, Fair Lending activities, committee preparation, and special compliance projects while contributing to continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

Education & Experience – You will need a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field AND0–2 years of audit, compliance, finance, or risk management experienceORan equivalent combination of education and experience.
