Job summary

Bridgewater Associates, LLC is seeking a Compliance Analyst to help fulfill regulatory obligations under the Core Compliance program. You will support the Senior Compliance Officer in onboarding, conflicts of interest, personal trading, testing, violations handling, and training, with a strategic scope expanding over time.

The role requires discretion, integrity, and excellence in handling sensitive information, and offers opportunities to engage with senior leaders on strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years compliance experience with a focus on financial services regulation.
• Familiarity with the Investment Advisers Act.
• High intellectual horsepower, agility, logical reasoning, practicality and curiosity.
• Comfort operating proactively and independently on end-to-end processes and ask for help when required.
• Strong project management capabilities; ability to hold others to deadlines and obligations.
• Comfort learning and adopting new software/AI tools quickly.
• Data handling and spreadsheet/database analysis to identify patterns.
• Strong interpersonal and professional collaboration skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with regulations applicable to alternative investment managers and private funds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute a suite of tests and monitor activity, designing new processes as needed and analyzing results to evaluate internal controls and compliance.
• Review, draft, and maintain compliance policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.
• Identify manual repetitive compliance processes and lead or co-lead their redesign into AI-assisted or automated workflows.
• Support onboarding of new employees and assist existing staff with daily compliance obligations.
• Develop and scale guidance to employees to ensure consistent compliance practices.
