A leading company seeks a License Compliance Analyst to provide analytical support within a collaborative environment. This remote role requires proficiency in data analysis and use of visualization tools like Power BI, and offers competitive pay and benefits. Seeking a License Compliance Analyst with experience working for a SaaS firm located in the EST Time Zone (ideally).

Pay rate: $54.12/hour W2
Status: Must be able to join Capstone's employment as our employee (W2) without sponsorship
Time zone: Eastern US (EST working hours)
Locale: Remote, WFH in the US on the East Coast

Length of contract: 3 month through 10/13/25 with potential extension
Education: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Prior Experience Required: 3+ years in analytic, administrative or operations
Must haves:
Proficient in Microsoft applications including Power BI
Solid organizational, time management and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and flexible approach to people, projects, and assignments.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and cultural-sensitivity when interfacing with global stakeholders
Microsoft Office proficiency; Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, or similar, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and impactful dashboards.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure or similar cloud platforms
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to work independently on complex datasets and derive actionable insights
Knowledge of statistical techniques and modeling methodologies to drive in-depth data insights and support predictive analytics
Strong ability to communicate complex data insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner
Effective team player with a strong ability to work across functions, engage with diverse stakeholders, and provide data-driven support for strategic initiatives.
The role: Global License Analyst
The focus of this role is to provide analytic reports to the team through the analysis and review of customer licensing records, customer inventory data as well as supporting analyses on evidence cases. This client works collaboratively with customers through the analysis of their software inventory environment and usage analytics to affirm customer requirements and license needs, while protecting their Intellectual Property.
Typical week:
• Case queue, managing priorities and assignments with GLAs
• ad-hoc calls and questions throughout the week
• Analysis Review on 1:1 calls with GLMs
• Customer facing calls, when invited by GLMs
• Working with BI team on GLM Dashboard updates, functionality, and ultimate transition to new system
• GLM/GLA team calls, sometimes scheduling other presenters based on need, new processes etc.
• Coordinating with Sales Automation on GLM team requirements for Salesforce (GLM Events, Case Queue, Reporting Dashboards, i.e., PowerBi)
• QBR reporting data
GLA General:
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support Global License Managers across all industry verticals by utilizing license tools, network analytics and profiling techniques to identify potential weaknesses and opportunities within our customers.
• Provide an overview of customers actual installation environment based on inventory data provide by customers.
• Identify customer compliance violations through these analyses.
• Assist in producing internal facing information / documentation used for presenting license related findings and data to assist in GLM customer engagements.
Skills:
• Verbal communication: with GLMs, Internal Teams and occasionally support on customer calls.
