We are seeking a Compliance Analyst to support environmental product compliance activities for Hach's analytical instrumentation portfolio. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone with a science background who is curious, detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow in product compliance. In this role, you will learn how to analyze product and supplier documentation, maintain accurate compliance data, and partner with experienced compliance team members to help ensure our instruments meet global environmental requirements .
This role is based onsite in Loveland, Colorado and it is onsite .
What You'll Do
- Review and analyze product, supplier, and component documentation to support environmental compliance activities.
- Maintain accurate compliance records and product data within Agile PLM and related compliance systems.
- Support compliance activities related to RoHS, REACH, SCIP, TSCA, and other global product regulations.
- Assist with Engineering Change Order (ECO) reviews and documentation-based compliance assessments.
- Partner closely with compliance, engineering, product development, and supplier-facing teams to help maintain compliant instrumentation products.
- Learn Hach's compliance processes and apply strong attention to detail when reviewing records, declarations, certifications, and part-level information.
- Occasionally support part-pull or shipment activities for testing, while primarily working in a documentation-focused desk-based role.
- Ask questions, seek feedback, and contribute to a collaborative team environment where learning, ownership, and integrity are highly valued.

- You build foundational knowledge of product environmental compliance and apply it accurately in day-to-day work.
- Compliance documentation is complete, organized, and maintained with strong attention to detail.
- Product and component data within Agile PLM is entered and maintained correctly.
- You collaborate effectively with teammates, ask thoughtful questions, and are comfortable learning from feedback.
- ECO reviews and other compliance support tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- You demonstrate o wnership , integrity, curiosity, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in chemistry, environmental science, biology, materials science, engineering, or another related scientific field
- Scientific foundation: Academic or work exposure to chemicals, materials, substances, laboratory concepts, product components, or related scientific documentation
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team settings, whether through academic projects, internships, work experience, athletics, or other collaborative environments
- Attention to detail: Ability to review documentation carefully, organize information accurately, and follow structured processes
What Makes You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Coursework, internship, co-op, or early career experience involving chemistry, materials, product documentation, quality, manufacturing, or compliance-related work
- Familiarity with CAS numbers, supplier declarations, Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), material declarations, or similar documentation
- Exposure to product lifecycle management or compliance management systems, such as Agile PLM
- Awareness of environmental product regulations such as RoHS, REACH, SCIP, TSCA, or similar global compliance requirements
- Experience supporting projects that required collaboration, problem solving, accountability, and careful documentation
