What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage first-party Personal Injury Protection (PIP) claims, including litigated cases and complex claims
- Negotiate, settle, and resolve claims within authority levels
- Represent the employer at arbitration hearings and court proceedings
- Investigate claims to rule out exposures and make coverage determinations
- Assist in handling catastrophic claims and other complex cases across multiple states
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of experience handling complex PIP first-party medical benefits, including litigation
- Ability to obtain necessary licenses in required states
- High School diploma or GED, or 3 years of directly related work experience
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient oral and written communication skills in English
