Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP, a leading international law firm, is seeking a senior-level associate (7-9 years) to join our Chambers-ranked product liability team defending clients in high-stakes litigation with aviation and transportation emphasis. The position is open to all US offices.

You will manage cases and teams through all stages, demonstrate exceptional writing and research, and contribute to a client-centered practice with strong mentorship and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills demonstrated by clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication.
• Experience managing cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, experts, and trial.
• Ability to manage complex cases with minimal oversight.
• Superior academic credentials and references.
• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, for example, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Defend clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters with aviation and transportation focus.
• Manage cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including discovery, motions, experts, and trial.
• Analyze jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues.
• Provide excellent client service and maintain a client-centered practice.
• Mentor junior associates and collaborate with partners on strategy.

Annual Compensation: $420,000
