Ashurst Perkins Coie US LLP in Dallas seeks a senior-level associate (7-9 years) to join our Chambers-ranked product liability team, defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation with an emphasis on aviation and transportation matters.

Candidates should have superb writing, strong case-management skills, and the ability to lead teams through discovery, motions, experts, and trial, with a client-focused approach and willingness to mentor junior lawyers.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills demonstrated by clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication.
• Experience managing cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions, experts, and trial.
• Ability to manage complex cases with minimal oversight.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.

We are seeking a senior-level associate (7-9 years of experience) to join our Chambers-ranked product liability team, defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with an emphasis on the aviation and transportation industry sectors. This posting is open to all US offices.

Successful Candidates Will Have

• Excellent writing skills, demonstrated by experience gained through a clerkship, law review, moot court, or publication;
• Experience managing cases and teams through all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, experts, and trial;
• Ability to manage complex cases with minimal oversight;
• Superior academic credentials and references;
• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice;
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, for example, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues;
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.
