Qualifications

• Excellent writing skills demonstrated by clerkship, law review, moot court or publication.
• Experience with all stages of litigation, including pre-trial discovery, motions practice, working with experts, and trial.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Willingness to commit to excellent client service and a client-centered practice.
• Comfort with analyzing complex legal issues, e.g. contractual, jurisdictional, choice-of-law, and admiralty law issues.
• Clerkship experience, especially at the appellate level, is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with emphasis on aviation and transportation.
• Our team handles matters for blue-chip clients worldwide and emphasizes client service, critical thinking, collegiality and mentorship.
• Support the firm's complex litigation practice across all US offices, in collaboration with experts and cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a mid-level associate (4-6 years of experience) to join our complex litigation group, defending clients in high-stakes, complex litigation matters of national and international significance, with an emphasis on product liability and commercial matters involving the aviation and transportation industry sectors. This position is open to all US offices.

Successful Candidates Will Have

Annual Compensation Range: $310,000 to 390,000
