Qualifications

• 2–6 years of complex commercial litigation or business litigation experience.
• Experience handling sophisticated commercial disputes, contract claims and business torts.
• Litigation in state and federal courts; drafting pleadings and motions.

Responsibilities

• Manage significant portions of complex civil matters with partners and clients.
• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses.
• Take and defend depositions and coordinate with fact and expert witnesses.
• Oversee discovery, document production and case strategy; prepare for hearings and trials.

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Complex Litigation Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 100 firm in Atlanta.

This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation associate interested in sophisticated complex commercial disputes, business litigation, and high-stakes civil litigation for major companies and other sophisticated clients across a diverse range of industries.

Ideal Background

• 2–6 years of complex commercial litigation or business litigation experience
• Experience handling sophisticated commercial disputes, contract claims, business torts, corporate disputes, and other complex civil matters
• Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts
• Strong experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
• Experience taking and defending depositions and working with fact and expert witnesses
• Experience managing complex discovery, document production, and case strategy
• Experience with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Ability to independently manage significant portions of complex matters while collaborating with partners and clients
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment
• Strong academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Georgia bar admission required or ability to become admitted
