  • Support the integration of security subsystems and other low-voltage control subsystems, including lighting, nurse call, and data networks where applicable.
  • Coordinate drawings, equipment schedules, submittals, and installation documentation with project stakeholders.
  • Select, order, and track materials, and coordinate factory-mounting processes to support project and factory schedules.
  • Assist with loading and commissioning system and network-level controllers, validating complete system functionality, and troubleshooting issues with subcontractors and other trades.
  • Provide field change information to support accurate as-built drawings and software updates.
  • Keep management, the customer, consultants, the Johnson Controls field installation team, and subcontractors informed of project progress and open issues.
  • Assist with site-specific training for owners and operators, participate in release meetings, and support value engineering efforts that maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to safety standards and maintain a high degree of regard for employee and subcontractor safety.
  • Translate contract requirements into accurate, buildable design deliverables that support installation, commissioning, and long-term system operation.
  • Focus on what matters by coordinating closely with project teams to remove obstacles during design, material flow, and system startup.
  • Own your work with accountability by keeping drawings, software, change information, and project communication current and reliable.
  • Improve every day by testing carefully, troubleshooting methodically, and using field feedback to strengthen system performance and documentation.
  • Win as one team by sharing information openly with customers, consultants, field teams, and subcontractors to keep work aligned and safe.
