Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd is seeking a Complex Claims Advisor with California expertise to adjudicate workers’ compensation claims, apply OSIP licensing, and develop sophisticated litigation strategies that resolve difficult matters efficiently while protecting client interests.

In this role you will act as a subject matter expert for the complex claims team, mentor junior staff, coordinate across lines of business and jurisdictions, and oversee case strategy from intake through

Responsibilities

• Proactively oversee a complex claim inventory by assessing highly complex claims issues and providing oversight to guide resolution.
• Assist the claims team as subject matter expert across lines of business and jurisdictions on complex issues.
• Evaluate exposure and direct action plans for issue or case resolution.
• Articulate and document clear file notes for stakeholders to understand issues and resolution paths.
• Facilitate roundtables and coordinate resources as needed to ensure consistency and quality.
• Mentor complex claim consultants, adjusters and team leads, and lead calibration exercises.
