Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is partnering with a leading children's healthcare provider to recruit a dedicated Support Worker for a residential setting in Worcester. You will deliver high quality, person-centred care to a young individual with complex needs, supporting daily living, mobility, and emotional wellbeing.

The role requires NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and prior experience in similar settings.

Qualifications

NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care is required.
Experience in a similar role and setting is desirable.
Ability to build trusting relationships with individuals and families.
Strong communication and observation skills.

Responsibilities

Provide 3:1 or 4:1 person-centred support within the home.
Assist with personal care, mobility, medication and daily living needs while maintaining dignity and privacy.
Provide emotional support and companionship, encouraging independence and individual choice.
Support with behaviours that may challenge, following agreed care plans and positive behaviour support approaches.
Monitor wellbeing, maintain accurate care records and follow safeguarding procedures to ensure safe, consistent care.
