Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor / Grounds Maintenance Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and curb appeal of our apartment complex. This dual-role position includes daily janitorial responsibilities, light maintenance tasks, and upkeep of outdoor common areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Janitorial Duties:
Clean and sanitize common areas including hallways, stairwells, lobbies, laundry rooms, and restrooms.

Remove trash and recycling from designated areas daily.

Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces as needed.

Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to management.

Restock supplies (soap, paper products, etc.) in shared facilities.

Grounds Maintenance:
Maintain exterior property cleanliness, including sidewalks, parking lots, courtyards, and landscaping.

Pick up litter, sweep debris, and empty exterior trash receptacles.

Assist with basic landscaping (weeding, trimming, watering, seasonal clean-up).

Remove snow/ice and apply salt or sand during winter months (if applicable).

Monitor irrigation systems and report issues.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

1+ years of experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance work.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions.

Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and outdoor equipment.

Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.

Ability to work independently and take initiative.
