Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a Completions Stress Engineer in Savannah to support the planning, design, and analysis of interior furnishings for Gulfstream products. You will work with cross-functional teams, applying advanced methods to deliver high-quality solutions under schedule and cost constraints.

The role requires hands-on experience with FEMAP, rigorous stress analysis of interior components, and collaboration with Structural ARs for STC-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a Stress Engineer or related role.
• 3+ years of stress analysis of aircraft interior furnishings (metallic & composite).
• 3+ years of experience analyzing interior components (bulkheads, galleys, closets, lavatories, credenzas, vanities, ledge/dado panels).
• 3+ years using FEMAP and performing classical hand calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, coordination, design, analysis, and liaison engineering for Gulfstream products.
• Contribute to planning, development, and execution of key engineering projects.
• Provide specialized technical guidance to team members.
• Apply advanced engineering methods to develop solutions for complex challenges.
• Independently determine and execute approaches to meet schedule and cost objectives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments and propose innovations.
