Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in St. Louis, MO seeks a Stress Liaison Service Engineer (CS SVC Tech Spec II) to support green aircraft repair, rework and alteration. You will apply stress analysis, review engineering drawings, and prepare reports to ensure safety and airworthiness.

The role requires knowledge of 14 CFR 25, ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team, and strong communication skills to coordinate with FAA and other authorities. Prior Gulfstream experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field; 10 years in a technical discipline or 15 years across multiple disciplines.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings, performing calculations, and writing/studying stress reports.
• Knowledge of 14 CFR 25 regulations and ability to liaise with FAA/foreign authorities.

Responsibilities

• Select methods and criteria to resolve complex engineering issues.
• Serve as an authority; be consulted by peers on engineering matters.
• Anticipate and resolve issues balancing technical, cost, and schedule considerations.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team and maintain project schedules.
• Determine technical objectives and provide authoritative recommendations.
• Maintain knowledge of developments to propose improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
