Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking experienced compiler engineers to advance the LLVM/GCC toolchain for the Snapdragon Hexagon DSP. You will help enable efficient silicon usage across ML, wireless, audio, and image processing on Android.

Role involves cross-disciplinary collaboration, performance analysis, and benchmarking across the full compilation stack, including languages, IRs, and code generation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of compiler frameworks such as LLVM or GCC.
• Programming in C/C++ and assembly languages.
• 5+ years of compiler engineering experience in industry or academics.

Responsibilities

• Research, design, develop, and enhance compiler components for Qualcomm Hexagon DSP.
• Analyze performance, code size, and other metrics to identify compiler improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to enable efficient silicon usage.
• Develop and execute benchmarks and test scenarios for compilers.
