Job summary

Revel in San Francisco seeks a Compiler Engineer to join our core platform team, shaping the compiler infrastructure for our proprietary hardware control language. You will design, implement, and optimize the compiler stack to ensure reliable, high-performance code generation for critical systems.

You will collaborate across software, hardware, and systems engineering to refine architecture, boost IR and optimization passes, and advance determinism and robustness in mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, CE, or related discipline.
• Deep expertise in compiler design and LLVM or custom toolchains.
• Proficiency in C++ and compiler internals.
• Experience with performance optimization and deterministic constraints.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize compilers for Revel's hardware control language.
• Implement parsing, semantic analysis, IR, optimizations, and code generation.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams on compiler architecture.
• Improve robustness, efficiency, determinism, and maintainability via testing.
