Job summary

Artisan Partners in New York seeks a Competitive Intelligence Associate to translate industry, product and competitor data into actionable insights that inform global distribution, strategy and sales enablement.

You will monitor market trends, analyze investment strategies vs peers, prepare executive reporting and collaborate with Finance, Marketing and Compliance to drive growth while adhering to data governance and AI usage controls.

Qualifications

4–8+ years in asset management, investment research, CI or related financial services.
Familiarity with performance, risk, flows, fees, peer groups and benchmarks.
Experience with structured and unstructured financial data.
Morningstar Direct or Nasdaq eVestment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Monitor industry trends, asset flows, pricing and competitor activity across market strategies.
Analyze Artisan investment strategies relative to peers using industry data and research platforms.
Develop competitive positioning translating data into actionable insights for senior stakeholders.
Provide concise market intelligence to senior sales professionals.
Prepare governance reporting for funds and vehicles, ensuring consistency.
Contribute to strategic projects on product gaps, launches and pricing competitiveness.
Collaborate with Finance, Investment Strategy, Sales, Marketing, Legal/Compliance and Data teams.
Improve CI and reporting workflows with responsible AI tool usage and governance.
