Job description

Global Research Operations (GRO) Program Managers build and scale global research programs to strengthen the impact of our research teams. We drive efficiency, cultivate relationships, increase knowledge sharing, and build capacity within our organization to enable our stakeholders to do their most impactful work. In this role, you will define, establish, and maintain global operational and team-wide programs and create, manage, and scale processes that support a growing team. You'll draw on a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help our team operate effectively and deliver high-impact work. The Competitive Intelligence Program Manager supports strategic initiatives in partnership with cross-functional groups (e.g., Sourcing, Privacy, and Legal) to coordinate the acquisition and maintenance of external data sources. We are looking for a systems thinker who works in an AI-native way, and who can provide strategic program direction, support operational excellence, guide the data sourcing process, and build strong cross-functional partnerships that advance our vendor portfolio and governance posture. This position helps fill strategic gaps in the competitive data landscape, deepening the team's shared understanding of the product landscape, including trends, players, technologies, and underlying dynamics.

Competitive Intelligence Program Manager Responsibilities:
  • Partner with Meta Sourcing and the Privacy teams to complete new data contracts and renewals, bringing agreements to completion in a timely fashion while ensuring compliance requirements are met
  • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency, and propose approaches that expand data coverage and realize more value from existing vendor relationships
  • Guide vendor management best practices and governance by building strong working relationships with current and prospective vendors, and support negotiation of pricing decisions and sensitive terms
  • Define clear program roadmaps, share frequent program updates, surface and communicate risks and adjustments, and ensure commitments are delivered
  • Partner with stakeholders on internal processes, templates, and guidelines that improve team optimization and documentation
  • Define and manage strategic initiatives that improve team efficiency and impact, and establish the operational systems that support them
  • Work in an AI-native way by integrating AI into your workflows to support productivity, innovation, and quality, adapting to new technologies and sharing best practices to support team-wide AI adoption
  • Serve as a connection point to the Global Research Ops team, adopting new processes and best practices where relevant and collaborating on programs specific to the team's needs
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 6+ years of experience in program or project management, with a focus on vendor management or business operations
  • 2+ years of experience managing cross functional data projects (3P data source integration) in a corporate or similar role
  • Experience in data modeling, project tracking, including advanced proficiency with Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides
  • Experience with establishing programs and leading them end-to-end while scaling for growth
  • Experience building relationships with peers and senior stakeholders, and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations
  • Experience communicating with data to drive change
  • Experience managing competing priorities and shifting requirements independently, and resolving operational problems as they surface
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • Experience with data extraction tools such as SQL, and experience with data modeling and reporting in Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides
  • Experience integrating AI tools and workflows to redesign processes with measurable outcomes (e.g. efficiency gains, quality improvements), including ongoing AI skill development such as prompt/context engineering or agent orchestration
  • Experience with data privacy considerations in the consumer internet space, including social, communications, media, and/or entertainment verticals
  • Experience communicating with leadership and contributing to product decisions
  • Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience in full lifecycle vendor management, competitive intelligence, or business operations
