Roquette seeks a Compensation Specialist to join the Total Rewards team in the US. You’ll support base pay, incentives, and market benchmarking across US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico, ensuring data quality in HRIS and accuracy in incentive calculations.

The role collaborates with Talent Acquisition and HR partners to align compensation decisions with internal equity and external market data. You will maintain job architecture, salary structures, and guidelines, and assist with annual merit

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3–5 years of relevant compensation or Total Rewards experience.
  • Experience supporting compensation programs in a multi-location or global organization.

The Compensation Specialist will provide analytical and operational support for base pay, incentive programs, market benchmarking, job evaluations, annual compensation processes, and compensation-related reporting. Key components of the role include review/stewardship of compensation data quality in HRIS systems, meticulous and accurate calculation of incentives and misc. payments, as well as accurate application of all compensation processes such as merit and/or collective increases across the US, Canada, Brazil and Mexico.

Compensation:

The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $90,000 -$120,000 In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

This position is located in Springhouse, PA.

What You’ll Do:

Support the administration of company compensation programs, including base salary, short-term incentives, and other compensation initiatives. Conduct market pricing and benchmarking of positions using compensation survey data and other market resources. Review job descriptions and evaluate positions to determine the appropriate job level, grade, and salary range. Support the development and maintenance of job architecture, salary structures, grades, and compensation guidelines. Partner with Global Compensation & Benefits colleagues to ensure consistent global standards and overall best practices are aligned across countries. Partner with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners and hiring managers to review compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, adjustments, and organizational changes. Provide compensation analysis and recommendations based on internal equity, external market data, employee experience, and established compensation guidelines. Support the annual merit and incentive compensation processes, including system preparation, data validation, reporting, and manager support. Analyze compensation data to identify trends, pay relationships, internal equity concerns, and potential areas requiring further review. Participate in compensation surveys and maintain accurate market data and survey submissions. Assist with pay equity and compensation compliance reviews. Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, presentations, and ad hoc analyses for Total Rewards and HR leadership. Respond to compensation questions from HR Business Partners and other internal stakeholders. Maintain knowledge of compensation trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging best practices. Total Rewards & Business Support Serve as a key resource to the Total Rewards team and provide support across benefits and compensation priorities as needed. Assume additional responsibilities and project work to support changing business needs. Prepare and analyze reports, employee data, and other information used to support decisions. Create PowerPoint presentations, employee communications, process documentation, and other materials. Liase with the Peoples Operation Center (POC) team to assist with process improvements and ensure timely payments and pay related items are executed. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, employee experience, controls, and administrative processes. Develop, document and maintain procedures and process documentation to support consistent administration and knowledge transfer. Serve as a resource to other team members and provide guidance on compensation guidelines and best practices. Build knowledge across broader benefits and Total Rewards functions to provide additional coverage and support for the team.

What You’ll Need:

Education Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered. Experience Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in compensation or Total Rewards. Experience supporting compensation programs within a large, multi-location, or global organization. Preparation of end-to-end payment & performance cycles including merit and bonus processes, manual calculations and coordination with payroll, HR, and business teams.

Specific Requirements

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with specific expertise and skill in Excel. Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn and navigate multiple HRIS systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to independently manage sensitive and complex employee matters. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.

Business Travel: Approximately 10% or less.
