Wayfair seeks a Senior Analyst to join its Global Compensation team in Boston. This hybrid role combines 4 days in the office with 1 day of work-from-home, reporting to the Manager of Field Compensation.

You will shape compensation design for Wayfair Stores, relying on rigorous data analysis and governance to guide decisions worldwide. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in compensation, advanced Excel, and strong collaboration skills; Workday experience is a plus, with SQL/Python knowledge

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Primary lead for supporting our Stores vertical.
  • Perform annual benchmarking against industry data.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Business leadership to design compensation plans.
  • Develop and formalize policy and governance framework documents.
  • Maintain and create compensation grades and job profiles in Workday
  • Perform audits on data and coordinate with Finance, Talent, and Recruiting to drive desired outcomes.

This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Headquarters in Boston, MA (this role is not a virtual / remote position). 4 days in office/ 1 day WFH

We’re seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Global Compensation team. In this role, you will be responsible for recommending global compensation design for our Stores based on internal and market analysis. You will report directly to the Manager of Field Compensation and play a key role in shaping the compensation landscape for our employees worldwide. The ideal candidate has a strong data management and analytics skillset, is a collaborative team player with a strong attention to detail, has a strong desire to learn new skills and enjoys working with systems, tools, and processes, and is passionate about continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do
  • Primary lead for supporting our Stores vertical.
  • Perform annual benchmarking against industry and peer group data to ensure our compensation offerings are competitive and aligned with best practices.
  • Partner with senior Legal, Finance, and Business leadership to design and develop compensation plans for various roles in Stores roles.
  • Develop and formalize policy and governance framework documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance.
  • Maintain and create compensation grades and job profiles in Workday
  • Perform audits on data and partner with external teams in Finance, Talent, and Recruiting to ensure compensation design is driving desired business outcomes.
Required

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record
  • 2+ years of work experience in Compensation
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proven record of setting delivery commitments and meeting expectations
  • The maturity, integrity, and respect to handle extremely confidential and sensitive employee data
Preferred
  • 1+ years of Workday experience in Compensation
  • Compensation subject matter expertise from a policy and process standpoint, unrelated to Workday
  • Experience maintaining systems that support complex organizations covering multiple geographies
  • Proficiency in SQL/Python
