Job summary

Datasite in Minneapolis, MN seeks a Compensation Manager to design, administer, and continuously improve our compensation programs. You will lead day-to-day operations, analyze market data, and advise leaders on pay decisions with a focus on equity and alignment with business strategy.

This role reports to the VP of People Rewards & Digital HR Solutions and supervises a Compensation Analyst. You will partner with HRIS, Payroll, Finance and Legal to ensure accurate data, compliant practices, and

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in HR, business, finance, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
  • CCP, WorldatWork, SHRM or similar certification preferred.
  • Five+ years of progressive compensation experience including salary structures, market pricing, annual planning, and pay analysis.
  • Experience with HRIS and compensation systems; Workday and Marketpay preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, salary structures, job architecture, pay equity, incentives, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the organization’s compensation programs, including base pay, merit, bonus, incentive, and related processes.
  • Lead annual and off-cycle compensation cycles, including planning, analysis, approvals, Workday administration, reporting, and communications.
  • Conduct market pricing, job evaluations, salary structure reviews, internal equity analyses, and pay recommendations.
  • Maintain job architecture, compensation policies, guidelines, Workday data, and supporting documentation.
  • Advise HR Business Partners and managers on compensation decisions, pay practices, job leveling, and compliance requirements.
  • Partner with HRIS, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to improve data quality, reporting, controls, and process efficiency.
  • Lead pay equity reviews and support compliance with pay transparency and equal-pay requirements.
  • Manage and develop the Compensation Analyst while ensuring accurate, timely service.

This position may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or overtime if applicable.
