Job summary

Regular attendance and collaboration with colleges and departments are essential as you benchmark compensation, conduct workforce analyses, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, or related field
• 3+ years progressively responsible compensation experience
• 5+ years total compensation experience
• CCP or other compensation certification
• Higher education or public-sector HR experience
• Experience with Workday and Payfactors
• Knowledge of compensation analysis, salary administration, benchmarking and internal equity
• Knowledge of federal/state/local compensation laws
• Ability to supervise and train staff
• Ability to analyze data and prepare reports
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power BI)

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and day-to-day supervision for the University's compensation functions
• Lead compensation benchmarking and workforce analytics, coordinate annual surveys and reporting
• Review and approve complex compensation transactions and salary adjustments
• Contribute to compensation policy development and special projects
• Ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain strong collaboration with colleges and departments
• Demonstrate reliable attendance and collegial teamwork
