Orrick’s Compensation & Benefits practice is seeking a mid-level compensation and benefits associate with 4 to 5 years of experience focused on executive and equity compensation, including in connection with strategic and private equity M&A transactions as well as day-to-day advice and counseling. We are ideally seeking candidates with experience and/or a desire to work with growth-stage technology and life sciences companies and investors; experience advising on qualified retirement plans, ESOPs, and health and welfare plans is a plus but not required.

Candidates must be highly motivated and possess excellent academic credentials, superior oral and written communication skills, strong logical reasoning, research, and organizational skills.
Admission to the State Bar of the office of the state in which the candidate expects to be located is required.

The expected salary range for this position is between $310,000 and $365,000.
Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
