Our client, a top AmLaw 50 firm, is seeking a Compensation & Benefits Associate to join its Compensation & Benefits Practice Group in the Washington, D.C. office. This role focuses on advising clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters, with a particular emphasis on corporate transactions.

The estimated salary range for this position is $260,000 – $365,000 (annually) and may vary depending on experience and other factors.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be admitted to and in good standing with the D.C. Bar or Virginia Bar
• 3–5 years of experience advising clients on executive compensation and employee benefits matters
• Relevant tax and ERISA experience required
• Experience with executive compensation in connection with corporate transactions required
• Familiarity with Section 409A, Section 162(m), Section 280G, and executive compensation disclosure rules is a plus
• Strong academic credentials required
