Job summary

The role provides exposure to benchmarking, data analysis, and process improvements while contributing to ongoing compensation and benefits projects.

Qualified candidates should have data analysis skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, a 3.0+ GPA, and be a currently enrolled US student.

Qualifications

Must be a currently enrolled student at a four-year US college.
GPA at least 3.0 (cumulative).
Able to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
Must attach an unofficial transcript.
Must complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
Work term dates: Jan 11, 2027 – May 14, 2027.

Responsibilities

Assist Compensation and Organization Team with compensation benchmarking and position benchmarking.
Update Job Function Data Sheets (JFDS) for new and existing roles.
Support plant headcount, budget and planning steering processes.
Assist benefits team with vendor reviews, open enrollment presentations, and HR Service Center inquiries.
Update and modify process documents for Compensation & Benefits teams; support audits and compliance queries.
Maintain organization charts and respond to HR Service Center cases daily.
Contribute to continuous improvement workshops and document outcomes.
Analyze medical plan expenses for Plant Spartanburg; participate in compensation survey analyses.
