Job summary

Hunt is hiring a Compensation Specialist to join our HR team in New Hampshire. You will develop, implement and administer compensation programs, benchmark roles and participate in salary surveys to meet market objectives.

Required is a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field with 2–4 years of HR experience; CCP or PHR is preferred. Hybrid work arrangement with 1–2 remote days per week, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
• Two (2) - four (4) years of Human Resources experience is required.
• Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates the development, implementation and administration of compensation programs.
• Collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for job evaluation and job description development; prepares and maintains job descriptions reflecting work performed.
• Participates in salary surveys and monitors salary survey data to ensure compensation objectives are achieved.
• Benchmarks jobs against survey data and market intelligence to determine competitive compensation ranges for each position.
• Manages yearly merit review process
• Assists Benefits team in the Annual Open Enrollment process
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local compensation laws and regulations.
• Updates job knowledge by educational opportunities, reading, networking and professional organizations.
• Identify, facilitate and participate in staff trainings and workshops.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Travel to office sites required.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field

Two (2) - four (4) years of Human Resources experience

Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred

Compensation

$65,000-75,000 based on experience and education.

Hours

This is a full-time position. 8:30am to 5pm, Monday - Friday. Hybrid schedule 1-2 remote per week.
