Job summary

Vaco is seeking a Compensation Analyst for an onsite, direct-hire role in Monroe, OH. The position focuses on analyzing, administering, and improving compensation programs to ensure competitive, equitable pay practices.

You will work with SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, Excel, HRIS, and finance partners to design plans, benchmarks, dashboards, and pay equity initiatives. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in compensation are required; CCP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of compensation, total rewards, or HR analytics experience.
• CCP certification preferred.
• Advanced Excel, HRIS/HCM reporting, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, confidentiality, organization, critical thinking, and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a SME for SAP SuccessFactors Compensation configurations, templates, and cycles.
• Manage compensation plans, Budgets, routes, launches, and approvals with accuracy.
• Lead system testing, data validation, and integrations with HRIS and Payroll.
• Develop executive dashboards and analyze pay outcomes, budgets, and trends.
• Support market benchmarking, pay bands, surveys, and equity initiatives.
• Maintain job descriptions and job families to support evaluation and planning.
• Translate compensation data into clear recommendations for HR and leadership.
• Create process docs, user guides, and training materials; support system users.
• Drive continuous improvements to compensation processes and systems.

Position Summary

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing, administering, and improving compensation programs to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices. This role partners with HR, Finance, HRIS, Payroll, IT, and business leaders on compensation planning, benchmarking, job evaluation, analytics, and incentive programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for SAP SuccessFactors Compensation, including configuration, templates, eligibility rules, budgets, guidelines, workflows, and compensation cycles.
• Manage compensation plans, forms, route maps, budgets, launches, and final approvals while ensuring accurate data and processing.
• Lead system testing, data validation, reconciliations, and integrations with HRIS and Payroll.
• Develop executive-level compensation dashboards and analyze pay outcomes, budgets, workforce trends, and compensation data.
• Support market benchmarking, pay band development, external compensation surveys, and pay equity initiatives.
• Develop and maintain job descriptions and job families to support job evaluation, market alignment, internal equity, and workforce planning.
• Translate complex compensation data into clear recommendations for HR and leadership.
• Create process documentation, user guides, and training materials; support users on compensation systems.
• Drive continuous improvement, automation, and enhancements to compensation processes and systems.
