Job summary

Modivcare Solutions, LLC is seeking a Wheelchair Driver in Cumberland County, ME to transport passengers to medical facilities or homes. The role requires a valid license, clean driving record, and excellent customer service. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM–8:00 PM EST, with a company vehicle provided and a gas card.

Smartphone stipend and comprehensive benefits are included. Responsibilities include safe driving, route navigation, vehicle checks, daily trip sheets, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 0+ years of experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for the appropriate vehicle type.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
• In-depth knowledge of navigating the local area to use safest routes.
• Excellent driving skills and strong communication with passengers.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws to transport passengers to medical facilities and homes.
• Familiarize self with routes using maps or GPS to minimize delays.
• Inspect vehicle and complete mechanical checklist at start of shift; report problems.
• Complete daily trip sheets and ensure documentation is up to date.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism with all passengers.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines; participate in trainings and other duties as assigned.
