Modivcare is seeking a Wheelchair Driver to transport passengers within Androscoggin County, ME. The role ensures safe, timely trips between medical facilities and homes, following routes with GPS/maps as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and strong customer-service skills. The position offers a company vehicle, gas card, and smartphone stipend, with hours typically 4:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 0+ years of experience.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations or accidents.
• Excellent driving skills and the ability to handle various road and weather conditions.
• Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transports passengers to and from medical facilities and/or home in a timely and safe manner.
• Operates vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Regularly inspects vehicle for maintenance needs and keeps it clean.
• Completes daily trip sheets and reports any issues to management.
• Adheres to company policies, safety guidelines and regulatory standards.
