Job summary

LCB Senior Living's The Residence at Valley Farm is seeking a part-time Wellness Nurse to join the Resident Care Team. You will support the Resident Care Director, supervise care associates, monitor health needs, and assist with on-call duties.

This role emphasizes enhancing resident well-being, coordinating care plans, and complying with state requirements, with weekend availability and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• English communication required, both verbal and written.
• Two years of geriatric health care experience preferred.
• Ability to follow state regulations and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Promote mission and core values to residents, families, and staff.
• Assist with evaluation of resident needs and service plan development.
• Supervise daily work assignments of resident care associates.
• Monitor medical concerns and discuss with ED, family and MD as appropriate.
• Ensure staffing coverage and on-call duties are met.
• Administer topical/oral medications with physician orders and regulations.
