Job summary

Beach House Senior Living, part of AgeWell Senior Living, is hiring a Wellness Associate in the Jacksonville, Florida area to support residents with daily living activities and care plans.

Reporting to the Wellness Director and Wellness Manager, you will assist with routine tasks, respond to emergencies, maintain supplies, and help onboard new staff. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork in a role that offers growth and meaningful daily work.

Qualifications

• Current State Nurse’s Aide registration preferred but NOT REQUIRED.
• Experience and passion in working with seniors.
• Able to perform tasks which may be physically demanding such as pushing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Able to maintain positive working relationships with Residents, their families, peers, and other staff members.
• In good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility.
• Report changes in residents' health to Wellness Director.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering when necessary.
• Help arrange shift coverage when call-outs occur.
• Develop and help maintain assignments for the Wellness Director.
• Assist in orienting and onboarding new Wellness Associates.
• Respond to Resident emergencies with first aid and arrange follow-up.
• Maintain residents' units neat and clean; assist with meals and laundry as needed.
• Attend at least 6 hours of in-service education per year.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
