Qualifications

• 1+ years of proven experience in a vet tech capacity.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• IDEXX blood machines experience preferred.
• Vetspire software experience is a plus, but can be trained.
• Able to be a team player and independent when needed.
• Background checks and drug testing may be required.
• Veterinary Technician licensure/certification would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care using diagnostic and technical skills, including venipuncture, catheterization, radiography, dental radiology, anesthesia monitoring.
• Assist veterinarians to ensure quality care, educate clients, and support hospital operations.
• Maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
• Obtain accurate vital signs and histories on patients.
• Document changes in condition in medical records and notify the team as needed.
• Monitor anesthesia and prepare patients for surgery and minor procedures.
• Collect and process lab samples (blood, fecal, urine, cytology).
• Restrain animals safely and keep the hospital clean and organized.
