The ideal candidate has CVT or RVT preferred and an associate's or bachelor's degree in veterinary technology, with prior clinic experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• CVT or RVT preferred.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology.
• Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting preferred.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of animal handling, restraint techniques, and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Genuine love for animals and commitment to high-quality veterinary care.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Collect and process laboratory samples including blood, urine, and tissue specimens.
• Monitor and care for patients during anesthesia and post-operative recovery.
• Take and develop digital radiographs following safety protocols.
• Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans and home care instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient medical records and documentation.
• Ensure exam rooms, surgical suites, and equipment are clean and properly sterilized.
